Product Core Value
In an extremely demanding environment that constantly endures significant pressure and impact, ordinary wear-resistant materials are prone to brittle fractures or premature wear. UTP BMC, with its unique fully austenitic weldable structure, maintains extremely high toughness while possessing outstanding processing hardening capabilities. During service, the surface hardness can be significantly enhanced, enabling dynamic adaptation to harsh conditions and achieving a lasting protective effect of becoming harder with wear and more resilient with impact.
Core advantages and features
Dynamic hardening, long-lasting wear resistance
The deposited metal has an entirely austenitic structure, with an initial hardness of approximately 260 HB, which is suitable for processing and adaptation. Under the intense impact and pressure encountered during subsequent operations, the surface rapidly hardens to a high hardness state (up to 550 HB), significantly extending the wear life.
Excellent toughness, resistance to impact cracking
The high-toughness austenitic matrix can effectively absorb intense impact energy, significantly reducing the risk of the overlay layer peeling and cracking under extremely high pressure, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the protective layer.
Enhanced anti-friction and corrosion resistance
The chromium (Cr) element added to the alloy not only improves the wear resistance of the overlay layer, but also enhances its corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in humid, dusty or moderately corrosive working environments.
Widely adaptable to various substrates
Suitable for ferritic steel, austenitic high manganese steel and other materials, and can be used for welding high manganese steel joints. This allows for multiple uses of the same material, simplifying on-site welding material management.
Typical application fields
