E6015 Low-Hydrogen Carbon Steel Welding Electrode
Product Description
E6015 is a low-hydrogen sodium type electrode for welding critical carbon and low-alloy steel structures. It provides sound weld metal with good ductility, toughness and resistance to hydrogen-assisted cracking.
Main Features
- Low-hydrogen basic coating.
- Good crack resistance and weld-metal toughness.
- Suitable for critical structural joints and restrained weldments.
- Recommended for clean joints and short-arc welding.
Typical Applications
- Critical carbon steel structures
- Low-alloy steel fabrication
- Heavy machinery and structural components
- Repair of higher-strength steel joints
